Jean Vachon was a motion picture actress whose career began in the silent film era.[1] She was the daughter of Mrs. Rosemary Vachon of Los Angeles California.[2]
Vachon is in the cast of For Sale (1924). Others actors in the movie are Tully Marshall, Vera Reynolds, Christine Mayo, and Claire Windsor.[3] The photoplay depicts the life of the very rich. The setting shifts from New York City, to Paris, France, and then returns to New York.[4] In 1927 Vachon portrayed a maid servant in Two Arabian Knights.[1]
She became engaged to Nate[5] "Chase"[2] Watt, unit business manager for the Caddo Film Company[5] at the Metropolitan Studios.[2], in June 1928. Watt was promoted from assistant director only a few days earlier. At the time of the couple's engagement Watt was working with Thomas Meighan on a new feature film. He met Vachon when she first began making films.[5] Their wedding was performed at St. Basil's Church, Wilshire Boulevard and Harvard Boulevard, in Los Angeles.[2]
